MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global advancements into Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song for 2017. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN for his debut full-length album. This album peaked at eight on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca, which was an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in 2020. The following calendar year Dopamina was his follow-up album. In 2021, he also performed an duet with TINI's smash streaming single Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo came from a family of musicians the mother of his younger brother and father have been musicians. In interviews, he referred to the importance of music as a requirement. When he was a kid, he began learning how to play the saxophone, the ukulele, and piano. Though his original career plan was that of a veterinarian for animals, his brother Julian convinced him to try studying singing with an instructor in Cuban. This revolutionized his entire life.
